现金娱乐网注册's Emerging Faith-Based Regional Coordination Efforts
For years, Faith-Based Organizations have been unwavering in their commitment to serving the most vulnerable in our communities. Remarkably, despite often-limited resourcing, staffing, and capacity, Faith-Based Organizations have remained generous and responsive pillars of the community -- offering relief, support, and stability, especially to people experiencing homelessness. That is why, in consultation with the Faith Collaborative to End Homelessness (FCEH) and the County's Homeless Initiative (HI), 现金娱乐网注册 is helping to create a system of engagement and collaboration with the Faith-Based Community across Los Angeles County -- recognizing, elevating, and resourcing important FBO initiatives aimed at reducing homelessness and getting people housed.
By contracting with our adult lead agencies in SPAs 1-8 for coordinator positions dedicated to faith-based engagement, 现金娱乐网注册 has funded 8 Faith-Based Regional Coordinators and a lead 现金娱乐网注册-based Faith Coordinator to spearhead the work of bridging the gap between homeless services resources and the on-the-ground service FBOs offer to people experiencing homelessness.
